Jerome is an Elizabethton Attorney. He graduated from Happy Valley High School and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He received his Doctrine of Jurisprudence from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA.
Jerome married to Sandy, a registered nurse, and together they have four children; Elizabeth, Jeremy, Jackson, and Emma Claire. They live in Elizabethton. The Cochrans attend Boone Trail Baptist Church
Jerome’s community activities include serving on the Board of Director’s for the Shepherd’s Inn , an organization to help battered women, serves on the Advisory Board for the Abortion Alternatives and Women’s Center, and serves as Treasurer for the Friends of Sycamore Shoals State Park Historical Association. He is also a member of the Carter County Bar Association.
Jerome is a former State Representative, where he was honored as Legislator of the year by Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) and the Tennessee Home School Association.
